Agile Buddy guide

Feedback and alerts

In-app alerts, mentions, and how to report an issue with Agile Buddy itself.

Alerts

The header bell lists in-app notifications, including assignment, blocked work, done work, sprint start and completion, intake, and feedback. Email notifications are not sent.

Mentions are separate. On a work item, @ mentions an active project member. On a feedback reply, @ mentions a Platform Administrator. Mentioned people open the Mentions icon, not the bell.

Product feedback

Feedback in the header is for Agile Buddy: something confusing, broken, or missing in this workspace. You can attach a screenshot and set a priority. Medium is the starting priority. Category does not set it. You see your own submissions under My feedback, including replies that are meant for you.

  • Leave out secrets, passwords, and personal data.
  • A reply can use bold, italic, code, lists, and an http or https link. The link text is the address.
  • A defect in the product your project is building is a Bug on that project’s backlog.
  • Created and Last updated are the stored times, shown in your timezone. A reply or a status change updates Last updated.
  • Days open counts calendar days on the server from the created date. It stops when the item is resolved or closed, using that status change. If that time was not stored, Days open stays blank.
  • Platform Administrators triage everything in Feedback inbox and can change priority. They can turn sanitized text into a backlog item only on a project they already belong to. Screenshots stay with the administrators.
